DID WORLD WAR III START LAST FRIDAY?

bOMB

What interesting times we live in, huh?

As I write this the attacks in Paris are not even a week old. Probably most of the dead aren’t even buried yet. Like most people now, I get my information from the net, and it is buzzing like a hornets nest.

It is hard to get any hard facts from all the chatter going on. News sites are almost worthless now. They are set only to produce a narrative that fits an agenda. What I, and I think a lot of people want is hard intelligence, but what we get is propaganda. People, passionate about their beliefs, post dodgy facts and stories that support their beliefs without fact checking them.

I’ve been sifting through mess trying to come up with data that allows for intelligent decision making. It has not been easy. I believe the best thing to do is to try and define how we need to react to what is going on.

Paris has shown us that we are indeed in a 4th Generation of Warfare. The enemy is decentralized; there is no Tokyo or Berlin to bomb in this war. The motives are ideological; the killers are already amongst their victims. President Hollande of France has promised retaliation, but it is difficult for a country to bomb their own people living in their own cities. Yesterday, the French police hunted down some of the terrorists in a suburb of Paris. The latest information is that two people are dead. One of them, a woman detonated a suicide belt. The French were after the mastermind of the terror attacks, but it seems likely they have missed him, but no one is sure. He is not among the eight people detained, anyway. CNN in reports that there were over 5000 rounds fired during the raid, which seems to me to be more of a battle than a police raid.

I suspect these will become more common in the coming years.

Our problems seem to come from the fact that our elected representatives, I hesitate to call them leaders, have no idea how to handle the Middle East, the breeding ground for the evil we face today. President Bush reacted to the September 11th attacks by invading Afghanistan and then Iraq. His efforts were meant to take out the Al-Qaeda command structure and eliminate Saddam Hussein as a threat. If his motives were good (many say they were not), the results have not been good.

You cannot go to war without it being the will of the people. Roosevelt had no problem in 1941, but the disastrous “Limited War” in Vietnam should have been a history lesson for Bush, just as 9/11 should have been a wake-up call to the American people. However, there is such a large socialist portion of population that hates its identity as American, and some who are so “pacifist” they would rather see the U.S. suffer a million deaths rather than fight, that we did not have the public will behind the wars. The U.S. military should only go to war when the American people are willing to go to war. When these two components are pulling together, there would be no force in the world that could stop it.

As it turned out, Iraq, which could have brought stability to the Middle East, that was lost when Carter abandoned Iran to radical Islamists, turned into a fiasco. If Bush’s foreign policy was flawed, and it was, Obama’s foreign policy in the Middle East has been an absolute disaster. ISIS is now a powerful and dangerous enemy. Some report even state Obama created them, or at least supplied them with weapons. This information is not from reliable sources, but we do know that ISIS has a lot of American equipment, possibly left behind by our troops.

ISIS has a lot monetary resources, and that combined with the abysmal “leadership” of President Obama has created a big ugly monster that is targeting innocent people, and doing it so very effectively. On the very day Obama declared ISIS contained, it launched its terror attack on Paris. What is obvious to all; is that Obama does not know what to do. Of course, he may, as some believe, be secretly on their side. Either way, innocent people have and will be killed.

The death toll among Muslims of the Middle East is over 100,000 by ISIS, at least according to the King Abdullah II of Jordan, who is the one who stated we were now in World War III. King Abdullah was educated in the West, in England, and no mere reactionary.

Even our own royalty here in America, Chuck Norris, has asked if this is the beginning of the next great war. Certainly, the conditions seem to be ripe for something big. The USA has kept a lid on the powder keg for a long time, since the late 1940s, but our economy has flatlined and our “leaders” are more interested in taking America down (so as to raise others up), that we are no longer effectual. We have fallen from our perch on top of the world, and now the world is descending into chaos. The European Union has proven itself to be worthless in a crisis, as has the United Nations. It was America who had to cross the ocean to take care of the Balkans in the 1990s, even though the Balkans are in Europe.

The enemy IS at the gate, and the EU isn’t even trying to shut the gates. To do so, to close their individual borders and restrict the movement of potential terrorists, would be an admission that their great socialist society, where nationalism must be downplayed or eradicated, is a failure. When a country closes their borders, it declares its own sovereignty. A sovereign nation is an anathema to a socialist, because they want everyone blended together in one big gray lump. A sovereign nation, governed well, will prosper, while other nations, perhaps less well governed, will suffer the consequences of their poor choices and the prosperous nation will exert influence over them. This is why America has had so much influence in the past and why people like George Soros and Barrack Obama have wanted it knocked down a few pegs. They seem to have been very successful at it, too. But now there is a power vacuum the evil people want to fill.

Russia’s Vladimir Putin MAY be able to lead a coalition against the new horde of barbarians rising up out Middle East, but then no one really trusts him, and so we may be looking at a replay of what happened in Europe after Rome fell, when it plunged into the Dark Ages. Even if a coalition was created, without internal security by the individual nations and the rejection of new immigrants from the Middle East, the war against European people, will continue.

But what of America, how will we fair if the EU fails spectacularly?

That will be discussed in PART 2.
